It was a big weekend for celebrating Keller Williams in Austin. On Friday night, the Austin Young Chamber of Commerce presented Keller Williams with its Favorite Austin Venture or Enterprise (FAVE) award for local living company. And on Sunday, the Austin American-Statesman once again named Keller Williams a Top Workplace. It also recognized CEO Mark Willis with a Top Workplaces Leadership Award.
All of the awards are based on the feedback of members of our community.
Check out our article and ad, which ran in a special section of the paper, as well as this video, which captures a few of the reasons that more than 2,300 associates in the Greater Austin area call Keller Williams home!
For the FAVE awards, members of the community nominate their favorite businesses. The public then votes on the Top 5 nominees.
“The FAVE awards are unique,” said Austin Young Chamber Executive Director Matt Glazer. “They are about business and the community. The city owns the process and their voice is heard. It is with a clear and unified voice that we can proudly say these are the favorite businesses of young professionals in Austin.”
The Austin American-Statesman worked with WorkplacesDynamics to survey tens of thousands of local residents from more than 100 companies. WorkplaceDynamics asked workers to rate their employers on issues such as leadership and direction, ethics and values and how well employees are treated. The winners were divided into small, medium and large categories. Keller Williams was the second highest ranking large company.
Keller Williams was recently recognized in Inc. magazine as one of the Principal 10 Best Companies for Employee Financial Security.
